What is Pitra Dosha

When Sun and Rahu forms conjunction in the Ninth house then Pitra Dosha is formed in the birth chart.
The ninth house in the birth chart is the house of fortune and it's important house, as this house is also known for the house of forefathers and manes.

Manes are known as Pitra in Hindu religion. Pitra, those people who died unnatural death and did not get salvation. Due to this Pitra Dosha is Formed.

(Premature Baby birth and innumerable death of children after birth or prenatal birth. i.e. abortion The couple has problem in getting pregnant.. Repeated miscarriages.

4. Giving only a girl child birth repeatedly.

5. Dispute among family members without any reasonable reason.

Krishna Paksha of the Ashwin month is the best period for the pacification of manes with sesame, couch grass, flowers, raw rice and Ganga water or pure water, as per Hindu calendar .

If a person worships the Peepal tree , a Pitra Dosha will be removed. If a Person offers Kheer to his manes on the day of Somvati Amavasya Pitra Dosha will reduce somewhat .

You may also offer food and clothes to Brahmins on Amavasya to reduce imperfection of Pitra Dosha.

On every Amavasya, put Kheer in the ash of cow dung cake and recall your manes in the south direction and ask for forgiveness for your mistakes and Karmas. This is the Simple and beneficial remedy.
